Combined Heat and Power (CHP)

Pöyry has designed and implemented CHP installations in numerous locations throughout the world. These installations have been based on various fuels such as coal, municipal waste, natural gas, biomass, etc. The electricity produced is used by local electrical utilities or manufacturing plants and the heat can be distributed in the form of steam and HPHW for use in manufacturing plants and district heating systems.
